still around

Oh boy, dropping a bomb (even when it is a pretty one) and then disappearing for a month, not exactly a nice thing to do. Especially, when you get all those lovely responses and warm wishes upon the changes to come. You know, it wasn't my intention to duck and dive, and I really have missed this place, but we are a simply having a killer schedule at the Fishbowl right now.

First of all, there is everything around our relocation in April; preparations, sorting out things, organizing a new tenant for our beloved home or simple but time consuming things, like asking your friends for moving boxes. Then, we had a good dose of last time events, like a wonderful last Speak Easy Club last weekend. They say, that things are best, when you are about to part. I don't know about that and we are not exactly parting, as the new home will be close enough to still host studio dinners. But I have to say, that Saturday night has honestly been one of the most amazing nights ever. Thanks to the crowd, that made it a truly memorable one.

On another note, I am in the middle of getting a pair of new legs. Or better a new corsett. And like last year's wheelchair odysee, some of you might remember quite a few posts on how tricky it was to finally have the new ride around. Quite frankly, this corsett thing is not going any more smoothly. I am not a newbie to these procedures, but my patience and tolerance levels have simply dropped over the years. This will be probably a complete post soon, as today is Saturday and rather a day for dancing let me just say, I am sick and tired of the arrogant and patronizing attitude, you'll constantly find throughout medical staff, government authorities or, like in this case, orthopaedic technicians, when it comes to, well actually, their clients.

You see, there is a lot going on. On top of the usual routines like painting, creating and living, of course. It doesn't look like, that the upcoming weeks will be any different. Therefor I will stick to the non regular posts and promise to come around as often as I can, to fill you in and to say "Hi".

Have a wonderful Saturday night, lovelies. I will start packing up my books and the first part of the studio tonight.
